Description

I am using Aspen Plus 2006.5. I have defined three material streams, stream 1 behind defined using an Aspen Plus internal thermodynamic model, UNIFAC, for water and ethanol. I have saved the case (attached to this case as Unconnected.apw. Starting from Unconnected.apw, I define I want to use the CAPE-OPEN library and I choose the VB6 MixerSplitter Example as UO that I drop in the flowsheet. Next step is to select stream 1 and right-clicking on it to select \"reconnect destination\". When the UO is not logged, everything goes fine in this action. When the UO is logged, I get an error message \"You have requested an unavailable action\". I am then able to quit Aspen Plus. I think a call to connect is not returned as far as I see in the log attached.

  • Status changed from new to assigned

I saw the same problem using A+ 7.3 and it was caused by the same problem as was fixed for #151. So please retest when you have a build containing commit 250, which I will provide shortly.
