Description
This ticket is to record off-line discussion related to the speed issues found when logging a PMC compared to no logging. Apart from removing from log files a large number of messages generated by the loggers themselves and interesting only for COLTT debugging purposes, an idea raised was to permit the end-user to switch off logging of a given object type. For example an end-user may not want to log what happens through ICapeParameter interface and could decide on this when setting up the logging within COLTT controller. The list of interfaces that could be selected would depend on the type of PMCs and could appear on the right side of the selection process. So once the \"Enable\" box would have been ticked, some additional tickable boxes would appear in the same area for the end-user to choose from. The default would be to log communication through all CO interfaces supported by the corresponding PMC. The information about which interfaces to log would be carried by the configuration file.
