Warning if no PP supported by PPM

Reported by: michelpons Owned by: michelpons
Priority: minor Milestone:
Component: COLoggers Version: 2.3
Keywords: GetPropertyPackageList Cc: michaelhalloran

Description

I question the wisdom of the following log entry:
" Warning - PackageNames argument is empty" when a Property Package Manager does not manage any Property Packages. This message is displayed by COLTT upon return from GetPropertyPackageList. According to the Thermo 1.1 specification, "If no packages are managed by the Property Package Manager UNDEFreturned." So either the way the method is implemented is wrong in its way of returning something to be interpreted as UNDEFINED, or the method works well in returning UNDEFINED. The first possibility calls for an error to be displayed by COLTT while the other is just a normal behavior of the method. Difficult to tell here when the message relates to "empty" and not to UNDEFINED.
