Description
It seems that the msi making use of both the COBIA runtime x86 merge module and of the COBIA runtime x64 merge module does not carry any dialog regarding license. Seems a bit odd. Is there anything preventing such a dialog to take place? Is this msi supposed to be used in a kind of silent mode only?

The COBIA x64 installer was actually just for testing installation of the run time. It did not get finished. We have two options
1) finish it, or
2) remove it.
Personally I do not see much point in providing a COBIA stand-alone installer.

Well in the COBIA distribution specification, we listed such a msi to be necessary but perhaps for the wrong reason. If such an installation package is not useful to those using something else than Microsoft Windows Installer and not being able to use directly the merge modules for the COBIA runtime, then indeed there is no need for such an additional component. But we need to be consistent in our specification and our deliverables.

I'd rather suggest we make a strong example on how to provide such a stand-alone installer, with a company specific product ID. E.g. in the form of a WIX script.

There is no dialog asking for current user vs all users either. If this is to be a full fledged installer we should add a per user/per machine selection as well as a license dialog. No need for installed components.

Does an x86 installer need to be provided?
- yes (M&T SIG agreement)
Should we separate its delivery from the merge module zip?
