#75 worksforme Aspen Hysys crashes when using logged Aspen Properties PP michaelhalloran michelpons

Reported by michelpons, 14 years ago.

Description

I am using a simple Aspen Properties PP in Aspen Hysys. Without COLTT enabled on Aspen Properties Therrmo System, I see no problem. When enabling COLTT on Aspen Properties Thermo System, I have a crash just after selecting the PP from Aspen Properties Thermo System. In the attached log, I see:

MaterialObject <Anonymous> : Call to SetProp :

Property PhaseFraction Vapor mole (null) -179769313486231570000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.000000000

which may be wrong but does not cause a crash without COLTT.

#80 worksforme Viewer fails to initialize michaelhalloran michelpons

Reported by michelpons, 14 years ago.

Description

I am considering a scenario that involves ProSim Plus 3.1 and a UO made in VB provided by an end-user. I have installed COLTT 1.08.05 Build May 30, 2011 in the machine and I have run the simulation where the UO is logged with COLTT. The logging works apparently fine but I can't get the Viewer to open up. I get a message box titled \"COLTTViewer.exe - Erreur d'application\" and the message is \"L'application n'a pas réussi à s'initialiser correctement (0xc0000135). Cliquez sur OK pour arrêter l'application\".

#85 worksforme Name of interface queried lacking in Viewer michaelhalloran michelpons

Reported by michelpons, 13 years ago.

Description

The loggers are able to log the fact that a query has been made about the presence of a CAPE-OPEN interface on a PMC. It appears in the log file as, for example: ThermoSystem <Anonymous> : Call to QueryInterface for ICapeUtilities ThermoSystem <Anonymous> : Return from QueryInterface for ICapeUtilities - Succeeded

But in the Viewer, if the query call does appear, there is no mention about which interface the call has been made. There may be the need to develop some more the reporting on this because the name of the interface queried is about as important as the fact that it was queried.

Note: See TracQuery for help on using queries.
