#50 | fixed | AspenTech: COLTT does not handle undefined double values? | Michael Halloran | michaelhalloran |
Description |
COLTT appears to have trouble handling value which is “CapeDoubleEmpty - it crashes. For example, if a requested property (from CalcProp) is unavailable CalcProp() will set “CapeDoubleEmpty” by calling SetProp() and COLTT will crash. Running COFE(COCO 1.16) with COLTT 1.07 or 1.06.03 enabled and Aspen CAPEOPEN 1.0(Aspen Properties 24.0):
Clicked on “Liquid properties”, it crashed (COFE closed). From log file you would see: MaterialObject <1> : Call to SetProp :

#8 | fixed | Aspen Properties initialization fails when logged | Michael Halloran | michelpons |
Description |
I am conducting an interoperability test between an Aspen Properties Property Package and gPROMS. Aspen Properties is at version 7.1 CP1 and gPROMS at version 3.2.0, so they are at their current latest versions. The test fails and COLTT is brought in to investigate. By using COLTT v1.07 on Aspen Properties Thermo System, I get a log file explaining what happens. With COLTT v1.08.02 enabled on Aspen Properties Thermo System, the run stops early on with initialization failing for the Thermo System. |

#75 | worksforme | Aspen Hysys crashes when using logged Aspen Properties PP | michaelhalloran | michelpons |
Description |
I am using a simple Aspen Properties PP in Aspen Hysys. Without COLTT enabled on Aspen Properties Therrmo System, I see no problem. When enabling COLTT on Aspen Properties Thermo System, I have a crash just after selecting the PP from Aspen Properties Thermo System. In the attached log, I see: MaterialObject <Anonymous> : Call to SetProp :
which may be wrong but does not cause a crash without COLTT. |
