#27 wontfix Log enabled automatically on both Thermo System and PPM Michael Halloran michelpons

Reported by michelpons, 15 years ago.

Description

I am using COLTT 1.08.3 Build Oct 27, 2009. The combination involves Simulis Thermodynamics Thermo System as PMC and UniSim Design R390.1 as PME. I enable logging on Simulis Thermodynamics Thermo System through COLTT controller. I run the simulation in UniSim Design R390.1 and get a log file (attached). When reopening COLTT controller to disable COLTT on Simulis Thermodynamics Thermo System, I observe that COLTT is also indicated as enabled on Simulis Thermodynamics Property Package Manager. I find this awkward even if we know that Simulis Thermodynamics is designed a bit differently from other thermo servers providing support for both 1.0 and 1.1.

#44 fixed Location in logfile of message from Validate method Michael Halloran michelpons

Reported by michelpons, 14 years ago.

Description

I am using ChemSep Lite UO in COFE. The COFE flowsheet case will be provided as an attachment. I used this case to check how COLTT was behaving. My only minor concern is with the logging of Validate:

Unit <HPC> : Return from Validate - Succeeded, isValid=false

Message returned from Validate was: not all ports are connected Checking validation status after the call...

It seems to me that the message returned from Validate could be placed before :

Unit <HPC> : Return from Validate - Succeeded, isValid=false

Something like:

Validate returns : isValid : false Message : not all ports are connected Unit <HPC> : Return from Validate - Succeeded

I don't know from where:

Checking validation status after the call...

comes from. If it is an action taken by COLTT, there should be an appropriate way to mention that, oterwise there should be another way.

#100 worksforme List of log files not displayed by Controller michaelhalloran michelpons

Reported by michelpons, 13 years ago.

Description

One of the enhancements found in COLTT v2.0 is that the list of log files within the folder dedicated to host these files, is made available in the Controller so that the Viewer may be launched from there. As shown in the attachment, after installation, the COLTT folder is supposed to be the right one (as displayed in the Controller). Still no log files show up. It is only after having use the \"Change folder\" button in order to point to the very same location as the one displayed by default, that the log files appear.
