I am using PRO/II 9.1, together with a TEA Property Package and the COUSCOUS Mixer. The TEA Thermo System and the COUSCOUS Mixer are both logged with COLTT. I start from a case file where the Material Streams have been defined with the CEA C1_C2 (EOS) as Property Package. I am adding the COUSCOUS Mixer, connecting the two inlets and the outlet ports to streams and then I launch the Calculation which ends up in error. The log I get in the Viewer shows that Calculate is not as the same level as Validate which is odd. Going to the raw file I see that there is no return for the get_NamedValueList call. When logging is not enabled on either components, the calculation does not end up in error. Attached are the log file obtained and the screenshot of the Viewer as obtained. |

| Description |
I am puzzled by the button \"Clear all logs\" on the main view of the COLTT controller. When using this button, none of the existing log files is suppressed. There is no secondary window popping up that would ask for confirmation of the action. I think such a button may have some sense but on the view for the Logs. Also it should work with a confirmation window. |

When using COLTT 2.1 Development Build on a CAPE-OPEN UO in PRO/II 8.3, I have been surprised by the time elapsed between mouse actions. Just the fact of dropping the UO on the flowsheet leads to several minutes of hour-glass presence. Same after connecting one stream: it takes several minutes before being able to make another action. And so on. I have compared this situation with the time elapsed when enabling COLTT 1.08.4 on the same UO. Everything takes then place within seconds so there is no much difference in overall elapsed time with and without COLTT enabled on the UO with that earlier version of COLTT. For sure the log file with COLTT 2.1 is approximately twice the size of the log file with COLTT 1.08.4. Consequently I would expect an elapsed time of twice the size but the ratio is here between 100 and 1000. The CAPE-OPEN UO is exhibiting a large number of parameters. Apart from that I don't see any other specificity. May be worth investigating because the situation with COLTT 2.1 leads to a too large difference in overall behaviour because of the delays between actions. |
