#8 | fixed | Rights to write missing | michelpons | michelpons |
Description |
In a Win XP Pro machine, I am running as computer administrator. After installing .NET Framework 3.5, I launch the x86 installer. I choose to make a per-user installation. The installer indicates it is ready to begin the installation. I get an error message: "Error writing to file: CAPE-OPENv1-0-0.dll. Verify that you have to that directory". I am proposed to retry. That I do and I then get to the screen indicating the installer is exiting because of an error. |

#18 | fixed | Silent installation | michelpons | michelpons |
Description |
Is it possible to use the CAPE-OPEN TLBs/PIAs MSIs in a silent installation? If yes, it should be documented. The merge modules may authorize a silent installation but can't be used with installation technology not relying on Windows Installer. Basically it is questionable to bother end-users installing this or that process simulation software with understanding what takes place regarding the CAPE-OPEN TLBs and PIAs, including the acceptation of a specific license model. |

#33 | fixed | TRUNK missing in repository structure | jasper | michelpons |
Description |
There is no TRUNK folder at the root of the repository. Instead there are a number of folders containing various parts of the code used to build the CAPE-OPEN TLB/PIA distribution together with a "Tags" folder. There should be a "Trunk" folder at the same level as the "Tags" folder. That would make the repository structure in accordance with the best practice guidelines for a SVN-based repository. |
